In this era of globalisation, English has established itself as the international language of business.
As a result, many German companies attach great importance to their employees having a working knowledge of spoken English.
In all languages, however, there is a great difference between oral and written communication.
For large and small companies, it is therefore important to employ the services of a native speaker to translate papers and documents destined for English-speaking countries and global business contacts.
Preferably, these translators should be resident in Germany and have a command of the German language - both orally and in writing - equal to their native language, English.
These requirements are the basis of my work as your freelance translator.
Translation projects are confidential matters and personal contact promotes trust, which is why direct contact to my clients is very important to me.
As an active member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators in Germany, I regularly participate in seminars and training courses. I regard this as essential to assure the highest standards of quality in my work.
I look forward to working with you.
